Our lovely Dad and Grandad has sadly died but he lives on in our memories. We will always remember our happy family times with him sharing his love of nature and the outdoors with us. He was generous, kind and loyal.
He will also not be forgotten by so many others.
From his Barnsley Grammar School education he went on to become a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Leeds University where he loved the interaction with his students. He also lectured in the USA and Bangladesh. He was a devoted member of the choir and Parish of St Giles Church Bramhope, a Rotarian and he taught at Caring for Life.
The dementia robbed him of his intellect but his humour and love of puddings remained until the end.
He is at peace now with his wife Janet and youngest daughter Nina. Love from the whole family x
