Claire passed away peacefully on 28th August 2025 at Elizabeth Court Care Home in Caterham after suffering with dementia for several years.
Claire lived in Sanderstead from 1962 and made many friends due to her friendly and sunny dispostion and her natural ability to chat easily with everyone she met.
She enriched the lives of many young children in the local area who were lucky enough to attend Sanderstead Village Kindergarten from 1969 - 1986.
Claire was an enthusiastic menber of The Townswomen's Guild and was a member of Sanderstead United Reformed Church.
She will be dearly remembered and sadly missed by all her family and friends.
