BERNARD JOHN BALLARD

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard John Ballard at the University Hospital of Wales on the 28th September 2026, aged 92 years. Beloved husband of Shirley; loving Dad of Clare, Martin and Neil; wonderful Father-In-Law of John, Julie and Janet; a cherished Bampy of David, Christopher, Rachel, Charlotte, Laura, Owen, Matthew, Liam and Jessica and a precious Grampy, Bampy Wales and Great Grampy to his 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Bernard wil be be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Resting at D Caesar Jones Funeral Directors, 55 Pantbach Road, Rhiwbina, Cardiff, CF14 1TW, until his funeral service on Thursday, 8th October at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at 2pm, followed by a committal service at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 3.30pm.
Family flowers only, donations if so desired, can be made to the Blind Veterans UK
