Robin Griffiths, who served as a missionary in Thailand for nearly three decades, was called to glory on 28th December 2024 after a short illness. Robin served Jesus wherever he went-whether remote jungle regions in west Thailand, or churches in his native Isle of Wight, in Send (Surrey), and most recently, in Truro, Cornwall. Wherever he was, he loved to help and encourage people, sharing his unique problem-solving skills, his love of God’s word, and his testimony of the goodness of God. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, three children and four grandchildren.

A service of remembrance will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Falmouth, on 27th January at 12noon, following a committal at Falmouth Cemetery for extended family.

Heart for Headland Boxes is a local charity working with the Royal Cornwall Hospital to provide care boxes for patients who are receiving chemo or immunotherapy  Robin received one of these boxes and was so touched by the thought and care that had gone into them We would love other people who are going through a difficult time to feel loved and cared for beyond just their medical treatment.

United Beach Mission is a Christian charity that shares the good news of Jesus with individuals on the streets of busy shopping precincts or tourist attractions. It was a charity close to Robin's heart and one he was involved in for many years.
