It is with deep sadness to announce that Trevor passed away Sunday 28th December, aged 82 years. Trevor will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Trevor was born in Hillsborough, Sheffield, and remained a proud Sheffield man throughout his life. A devoted Sheffield Wednesday supporter, a skilled plumber and builder, and a man known for his warmth, humour and generosity, Trevor lived a full and active life shaped by hard work, friendship and family.
He shared a long and happy marriage with his beloved wife Jean, and was a devoted father to daughters Clare and Michelle, and a much-loved “Grumpy Grandad” to his grandchildren Morgan and Georgie. Trevor took great pride in everything he did, whether building homes, enjoying fishing trips, travelling the world, or simply making people laugh.
Trevor faced illness with courage, positivity and dignity, and passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.
Donations in Trevor’s memory are welcomed to Ashgate Hospice, whose care and support meant so much to him and his family.
