Please join us to celebrate the life of Jamie Proud. Showman, clown, builder, teacher, farmer, socialist and handyman extraordinaire.
Ceremony in Jamie's garden from 3pm. Those able will then process to Holmbridge church hall (approx. 1 mile downhill) followed by an evening do approx. 5-11pm. We will decorate his coffin at the garden ceremony. You can draw or write directly on to the coffin and/or bring something to attach or decorate it with.
Food, wine and beer provided, you are also welcome to bring your own drink. There will be music and entertainment and an open mic for those wishing to join in. You are more than welcome to sing, speak, read, perform or play, either at the ceremony or the evening event.
Parking is limited at Jamie's house, if possible please park at the church hall and car share/ shuttle up from there. If not please park at the junction of Flush House Lane and Green Gate Rd, approx. 200m away. There are several steps into the garden, if you need help please get in touch. Please dress as you think Jamie would like you to.
If you need somewhere to stay overnight let us know in advance and we will try to find you a bed.
