Joan passed away on Monday 29th April in the care of Alpine Lodge Care Home, aged 93 years.
She was much loved by her family and friends. Joan was a pillar of her local community, she enhanced the lives of many people and will be greatly missed.
Donations in memory of Joan will be gratefully received by Stocksbridge Community Care Group.
The group is a registered charity which aims to combat loneliness for older people in the local area.
