With deep sadness, we share the peaceful passing of our beloved mam, nanna and great-nanna on 29th June, aged 95, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a wonderful mother to Molly, Lorraine, Carol and Ivy — the foundation of our family and a constant source of love, strength and care. As a nanna to Mark, Colin, Faye, David, Jacqueline and Hughe, she was simply the best — endlessly kind, patient, and always there with a warm hug or wise word. Her love extended even further as a proud and much-adored great-nanna to JJ, Kayleigh ,Brad, Meika, James, Layla, Theo, Beau, Darcie, Orla, Freddie and Enya.
She was truly the heart and soul of our family — someone whose love touched generations. Her warmth, laughter and unwavering support will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
We will carry her memory in our hearts forever, and find comfort in the love she gave so freely.
Rest peacefully, our beautiful Mam, Nanna and Great-Nanna. You will always be with us.
Would friends and family please meet for a funeral service on Monday 28th July, 2pm at South Shields Crematorium.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu gratefully accepted for Marie Curie. A donation box will be available as you leave the crematorium chapel.
