It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ian Anthony Bluemel from Wheathampstead who passed away on 29 July 2025 at Lister Hospital, aged 81 years.
Ian enjoyed many hobbies including engineering, reading, travelling, gardening and loved volunteering for the Wheathampstead Community Group. He also enjoyed being a member of the Vincent Owners’ Club. He will be greatly missed.
The funeral will take place at 11am on 4 September at St. Helen’s Church, Wheathampstead. Family flowers only please.
Donations if desired to be made payable to ‘The Blue Cross’, an animal charity - bluecross.org.uk/donate or the Wheathampstead Community Group - wheathampsteadwcg.org or left at the service.
