It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Aimson, who sadly died on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
Mark was a devoted husband, dad, grandad, son, brother, and a cherished friend and colleague. His kindness, loyalty, humour, and unwavering support touched the lives of so many. He brought light and laughter wherever he went and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A funeral service to celebrate Mark's life will take place on Thursday, 8 October 2026, at 11:45am at Rotherham Crematorium.
To honour Mark's lifelong love of the open road, fellow riders are warmly invited to join and accompany his funeral procession on their bikes as a lasting tribute to his memory.
Family and friends are welcome to wear something burgundy, Mark's favourite colour, in celebration of his life.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations in Mark's memory may be made to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a cause close to many hearts.
