Mr Eric Arthur Carpenter
A much-loved husband to Rose Marie, devoted father to Wendy and Alison, and proud grandfather to Carey, Nicola and Louise, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
Born in Curdridge in 1931, Eric spent his life in Hampshire and became a well-known and respected figure in Southampton’s motor trade for over six decades.
He will be fondly remembered for his warmth and love of family, music, wine-making and gardening.
Eric touched many lives and leaves behind treasured memories for all who knew him. We hope to see you at the celebration of his life on Wednesday 5th November at midday. If you could email alison@thetopiary.co.uk to let us know that you will be coming to the wake that would be helpful.
