In Loving Memory of Gillian Lunt (Gill)
It is with great sadness that the family of Gillian Lunt announces her passing. Gill passed away peacefully on 29th September 2026, aged 88, after a long battle with Alzeimer's disease.
Gill will be lovingly remembered by her children Graeme and Alison, daughter in law Sue, son in law Alan, grandson Isaac, step grandchildren Hannah and Jacob and great grandchild Arthur.
Gill was born in Liverpool and lived in Maghull for the majority of her life, meeting her husand Tom whilst they led the guides and scouts respectively at St. Andrews in Maghull.
Gill loved spending time with her family, gardening and travelling with Tom. She undertook charity work, predominately for the Leprosy Mission. Gill spent many hours undertaking various hobbies including knitting, sewing and spinning, at all of which she was incredibly skilled.
Gill's funeral service will be held at Thornton Crematorium at 11.15 on Tuesday 20th October.
Family and friends are warmly invited to come together to celebrate Gill’s life, share their memories, and say their final goodbyes.
