On January 30th 2025, Michael passed away peacefully after a short illness, aged 88 years.
Dearly loved husband of Cath, much loved father of Glen, treasured grandad of Tom and Joe and brother of Gill.
A former Lord Mayor of York and City of York Councillor serving the ward of Heworth Without for 30 years.
A celebration of Michael’s life will take place at York Crematorium on Monday 24th February 2025 at 3:40pm. Please feel free to wear colourful clothes if you wish.
