“Trottie”
Affectionately known to all as Trottie.
Formerly of Cwm Nofydd, Rhiwbina, sadly passed away unexpectedly at Tŷ Enfys Care Home on 30 September 2026, aged 91 years.
Devoted wife of the late Ben, a loving mother to Janet and Gaynor, and a much-loved and respected mother-in-law to Dave. Cherished grandmother to Ceri and great-grandmother to Freddy and Archie, beloved partner to Alan, and a dear sister to Margaret. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Warm, caring and loving, Trottie was admired for her wonderful sense of fun and her distinctive character. As a lifelong member of the Cardiff Ajax Cycling Club, and as Welsh champion cyclist, she will be remembered with great affection for both her remarkable achievements and the spirit she brought to life. Her professional accomplishments include working as the Secretary to the Dean of Engineering in Cardiff University.
