My family and I are absolutely devastated by the sudden loss of our much-loved Dad and Husband, Roman, who sadly passed away on 30th September 2026.

For those of you who knew Dad and the incredibly close bond we shared as a family, you'll understand just how heartbreaking this time has been for us.

Dad was such a huge part of our lives, and although our hearts are broken, we know there are so many people who loved him, whose lives he touched and who, like us, will want the opportunity to share their memories, celebrate his life and say their final goodbyes.

It brings us comfort knowing just how loved Dad was, and we would love nothing more than to bring everyone together to give him the wonderful send-off he deserves.


Following the funeral and committal, we warmly invite all family and friends to join us at The Oak Pub to remember Dad, share stories, celebrate his life and raise a glass in his memory.

In Dad's final weeks, Florence Nightingale became such a huge part of our lives.

From the endless care, compassion and support we received at home, to the kindness, dignity and tenderness shown to Dad during his time in the hospice, we will be forever grateful.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and the palliative care team who supported Dad and our family throughout his illness, right up until his final moments.

Their kindness and dedication brought comfort during some of the most difficult days of our lives, and we will never forget everything they did for us.
