It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Greta McCash, of Holmes Chapel, who peacefully passed away at home on December 30, 2024, at the age of 78.
Greta was the beloved wife of the late David McCash and the devoted mother of the late John McCash. She was a woman of strong character and good humour, with an independent spirit. Once met, never forgotten, she will be remembered for her wit, her warmth, and her kindness.
A cherished relative, friend and neighbour, Greta will be deeply missed by all.
The funeral service will take place at Birches Crematorium at 1pm on Monday, February 3, 2025. All those who knew Greta are welcome to attend.
The family kindly requests that no flowers be sent. Instead, donations in memory of Greta may be made to The Salvation Army and Centre Point charities, two causes close to her heart.
Greta’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, godchildren, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
