Tony Whitten sadly died at home on Saturday, 31 January 2026 after a long battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and golfing buddies. His wife Celia invites you to join her and the family at Aldershot Crematorium on Thursday, 5 March at 12.00 noon and afterwards at the Aviator in Farnborough, where we can laugh, cry and generally remember him with love and fondness. Stories, photos, and memories of Tony may be shared informally throughout the afternoon.
Rather than flowers we would like to suggest donations to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in his memory so they can continue their excellent and caring work. They really could not have done more to support us during the last three months of his life.
For those who wish to make a donation in his memory, the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, have an online portal to facilitate contributions and messages. Gift Aid allows UK taxpayers to increase the value of their donation, and further instructions are available via the provided link. A collection box for anyone who prefers cash will be available at the funeral.
