Thomas McDonagh (64) passed away peacefully on the 31st May 2025.
Thomas was born on the 26th June 1960, he was the son of Francis McDonagh and Johanna McDonagh (nee McNeil). Thomas was a sibling to John, William, Anne, Francis, Augustus, Patrick, Joseph and Mary Jo. Where they all grew up in Blantyre.
Thomas was a loving husband to the late Jean McDonagh (nee Lochrie), together they raised 6 children, Amanda, Mariclair, Andrew (deceased), Annmarie, Cathleen and Joseph (deceased).
Thomas has also left behind his 4 grand children, Mya, Freya, Ciaran, Elijah, plus one on the way from his daughter Annmarie who stays in Australia. He also leaves behind his wee beloved dog Millie.
Thomas wasn't just a loving dad/papa to his own children/grand children, he was also known as Auld da to many others around him.
Thomas shared lots of passions through out his life. When he was a child he spent many a summer in Cushendall in Ireland, with his mum and siblings. He also spent many years in the Territorial Army where he travelled the world. He loved spending time with his family doing day trips, holidays and pottering around his garden. Thomas also loved going on holiday's, camping and fishing trips with his friends over the past few years.
His passing will leave a hole in the hearts of many.⁰
