Jean Elizabeth Winter, passed away on 31st October 2025 aged 91 years.
The family welcomes donations to the RNLI in lieu of flowers. Jean enjoyed many happy seaside holidays especially on the Isle of Wight. Jean and Bill honeymooned at Ventnor in 1956 and they continued to visit the island regularly with family and friends before retiring there in 1991. During the 30 years that Jean lived there, her children and grandchildren visited often. We have wonderful memories of the fun times that we shared and we all recall visiting the lifeboat station at Bembridge. The RNLI has 238 lifeboat stations around the UK, manned by volunteers who bravely risk their own lives to save others who get into difficulties around our coastline, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
