It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Linda, who died peacefully on 1st September, at the age of 60. Born in Bradford, Linda spent her early years in Thornbury, where she developed a lifelong love for her hometown.

​Linda's funeral service will take place on Wednesday 24th September at Scholemoor Crematorium @ 10:50pm.

Family flowers only please, however if you wish to make a donation in the memory of Linda it will be for the benefit of Marie Curie Hospice. 

For six years, Linda dedicated her time and compassion to The Methodist Housing Association (MHA), where she worked with and led social events for the elderly. Her colleagues remember her for her warm spirit and her ability to bring joy to those around her.

​Outside of work, Linda had a vibrant life full of passion. From a young age, she was an avid scooter enthusiast, spending many weekends traveling to rallies. Some of her favourite destinations included Kelso, Woolacombe, Exmouth, and Margate. She also found joy in the simple pleasures, like playing bingo at her local pub The Crown and listening to the timeless music of her favourite artist, Elvis Presley.

​Linda leaves behind her beloved husband Martin, her treasured daughter Hayley and her cherished granddaughter Marlie. She is also survived by her sisters, Sue, Anne and June, and her brothers, Ian and Gavin. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. Linda will be greatly missed, a woman who loved and was loved by all.
