Mrs Sylvia Roberts of Bradford, sadly passed away at Chestnut Lodge care home on Friday 1st November 2024, aged 84 years.
Sylvia was born Salford and lived there for 40 plus years before moving to Bradford.
Sylvia worked as a nurse at the BRI hospital for more than 20 years which she loved & wouldn't have retired if she didn't need to take care of her husband David.
Sylvia loved to knit for the whole family . From Uncle Daves big wooly Jumper down to matching Jurassic park jumpers for the grandkids & any repairs needed to clothing Sylvia was the one to do it.
Sylvia loved the theatre , travelling down to London with her daughter Susan to see a show ,sometimes even twice a year.
She loved travelling to various destinations, Transylvania, Bulgaria (which the kids loved ) & Malta where she was going to see out the rest of her retirement years with David if everything had gone to plan.
Sylvia is leaving behind her Daughter Susan Workman, Grandchildren & wife's Lyndon & Sheree & Martyn & Sadie & her great grand children Oliver, Phoebe, Melody & Oska, also her Yorkshire terrier Troy.
Her funeral service will take place on Monday 18th November at Shay Grange Crematorium at 10:30 hrs.
Family flowers only please, Donations in the memory of Sylvia would be much appreciated, with all monies going to Dementia UK. A Donations box will be left at the back of the Chapel on the day of the service for this purpose.
