Mr Guy Phipps of Bradford sadly passed away Bradford Royal Infirmary on Sunday 1st December, aged 86.
Guy was born in St Andrew, Jamaica, and moved to Bradford in 1962. He then worked as a builder, mainly around the Manningham, Great Horton and Clayton areas of Bradford but sometimes further afield, until retiring in 2019.
When not tending to his garden he could be found at the bingo hall, or playing dominoes at the Fire Brigade or Wheatsheaf in Great Horton.
Guy leaves behind his wife Imogene, his children Denham and Yvonne, his niece Jennifer, his nephew Rupert and their families.
Guy's funeral service will take place on Friday 10th January, Shay Grange Crematorium at 9:45am - 11:15am. There will be refreshments after the funeral service, venue to be confirmed.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in the memory of Guy would be much appreciated, with all monies going to The Windrush Foundation. A donations box will be left at the back of the chapel on the day of the service for this purpose.
