It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Doreen Mary Chapman announce her passing on 2 March 2025.
Doreen died peacefully after a brief stay at Airedale Hospital having spent her final days surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful nursing staff. She remained cheerful and determined until the end.
Doreen enjoyed a very long and happy married life and leaves an enormous void in everyone’s lives.
We would like to let this poem speak for a wonderful lady who seized the moment and the simple pleasures of life:
Let Me Go

The family would like to invite everyone who knew Doreen to a service to celebrate her life on Tuesday, 1 April 2025 at 1.30pm at Christchurch, Ilkley followed at 2.15pm by a reception at the church.
