David, aged 94, died peacefully on 2nd November at Mayfield View Care Home, Ilkley.
He lived an interesting and fulfilling life, a faithful partner to the late Roy, a good friend of Malcolm, his committed neighbours and many others in Ilkley and beyond.
In the past, he was an active member of Ilkley U3A, Vice-Chairman of the Yorkshire Dales Society, High Sheriff of the County of Breconshire, author, painter, broardcaster and photographer.
