Mr David Pickles of Gomersal, sadly passed away at Pinderfields Hospital on Tuesday 3rd September 2024, aged 77 years.
David was born and raised in Bradford Moor before moving to Gomersal in 1970.
He was apprenticed as an Electrician and became an Electrical Engineer, working for Bradford Dyers Association, Mintex, United Packaging, Aetna UK Robo Pac, Telewest Bradford, and Richard Alan Engineering.
David loved to travel and visited a number of far flung countries including Kenya, and Malaysia. When at home he enjoyed spending time with his Granddaughters, and walking the family dog.
He is very much missed and loved by his Wife Pauline, Daughter Lindsey, Son Craig and his Partner Amanda, and Granddaughters Ella and Maisey.
David's funeral service will take place on Friday 20th September at Dewsbury Crematorium at 14:45 hrs. Wake to be confirmed.
Family flowers only please. Donations in the memory of David would be much appreciated, with all monies going to The British Heart Foundation and Alzheimer's Society. A Donations box will be left at the back of the Chapel on the day of the service for this purpose.
