It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Squadron Leader Peter Robert Pennyfather at the wonderful age of 101 years. Dad joined the RAF during WW2 and was sent to Canada to train as a navigator/bomber returning home just as the war ended. He transferred to general duties and continued with his military service until 1979. During that period he met his wife Jean, married and had 3 daughters, Susan, Jane and Catherine. As a family we grew used to moving around to different parts of the United Kingdom not to mention Malta and Aden. Peter and Jean settled in Gloucester for many years making many friends before finally settling in Lincolnshire.
