It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Elizabeth Carol Carter, known to many as 'Carol'.

Carol's funeral service will take place on Wednesday 20th August at Scholemoor Cematorium @ 10:50am. 

To celebrate Carol's life the family have requested people to wear her favourite colour Purple or something bright. Family flowers only please. 

If you wish to make a donation in the memory of Carol it will be for the benefit of The British Heart Foundation and Pancreatic Cancer, there will be a donation box situated at the exit of the Crematorium. 

Carol was born in Bradford to her parents Vincent and Florence Lloyd and grew up in the areas of Buttershaw and Low Moor. Carol was the first born becoming big sister to Fred, David, Andrea, Sue and the late Penny  Janet and Collin.

Carol married Frank Carter and became a family upon the arrival of Paul and David. Carol and Frank shared many happy years together until sadly Frank passed away in 2021 from covid.

Carol was a unique character, well known within the community, she accepted many children into to her home who she nurtured and cared for on a daily basis.

She was a creative lady who loved music, art, photography and she could turn her hands to creating many handmade items that she would proudly gift to friends and neighbours.

Carol leaves behind her cherished sons Paul and David, her daughter-in-law Amanda and her siblings.

Carol was also blessed with her Grandchildren Michael, Megan, Paul Buster, Vinny, Tommie, Frankie, Danielle, Shakil, Harun, Yasmin and little Annie Elizabeth who was too precious for this earth. Carol was also a devoted Great Grandma to Delilah Rose, Noah, Frankie, Sienna, Savanna, Sophia  phoenix and Bump.

Carol will be greatly missed by all the family , Her sister in law Marilyn  and all her nephews and nieces , a woman who loved and was loved by all.
