It is with great sadness we announce that Martin Whitehead, formerly of Heath, Cardiff and a police officer of South Wales Constabulary (Cardiff), sadly passed away peacefully at his home in Chesterfield on 5th October 2025, aged 76 years.
Beloved husband of the late Ann, Much loved father to Robert, Emily and Ian, father in law to Serena and Justin, grandfather to Chloe, Jacob, Sofia and Francesca. Martin will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and his cherished companion Leo, his ginger cat. Forever in our hearts and thoughts.
Resting at D Caesar Jones Funeral Home until the service on Tuesday 21st October 2025, in The Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium at 2.30pm, followed by burial at Thornhill Cemetery for 3.30pm Family flowers only.
Donations in lieu if desired in memory of Martin to either Motor Neurone Disease , MND or Cancer Research UK via the donation box that will be available on the day.
