With two different packages available, you can rest assured that we'll be able to arrange the funeral you have in mind for your loved one. Learn more about our Attended Funeral, Chapel Service and Unattended Funeral below.
View our Standardised Price List, Additional Options Price List and Crematoria Price List.
Our Attended Funeral includes care of your loved one, a Park Coffin, a service at the place of committal which can be personalised as required for your loved one, followed by a burial or cremation.
When you choose the Chapel Service, our expert Funeral Directors will help arrange a one-hour service in one of our chapels. We will then conduct an unattended cremation with the highest levels of care.
Our chapels offer a peaceful setting where family and friends can remember and celebrate the life of your loved one. Once the ceremony is over, the cremation will take place without family or friends present. The cremation will be carried out with dignity and respect, overseen by one of our professional attendants.
Our Unattended Funeral will best suit your needs if you want to arrange a simple and straightforward cremation without a service or ceremony, allowing you and your loved one's friends and family to commemorate them in your own way.
Choose from a variety of options, including headstones and urns to memorial plaques, vases, statues, jewellery and plenty more. With a Memorial, you can create a tribute that especially reflects the life, love and cherished memories of your loved one.

From 9 September 2024, there will no longer be a doctor's fee in England and Wales when arranging a funeral. This is because from this date, all deaths in England and Wales will be independently viewed, either by a relevant coroner or by a Medical Examiner and the cost will be met by the NHS.
A Medical Examiner is a specifically trained independent senior doctor who will scrutinise all deaths across a local area that do not fall under the coroner's jurisdiction. By providing a greater level of scrutiny over the cause of deaths; it is hoped that the introduction of Medical Examiners will make it less likely that unnatural causes of death will go unnoticed; that the number of deaths unnecessarily referred to the coroner will be reduced and that national data about causes of death will be captured with greater accuracy.
Medical Examiners, or Medical Examiner Officers, will also be available to meet with families, or their representatives, if they wish to discuss the cause of death.
I found the service from D Caesar Jones excellent! At a time when things are at there worst for you, they made the difficult journey so much easier. At each stage things were dealt with efficiently, courteously and in a very respectful manner. Russell who looked after my mothers funeral carried out every part brilliantly, I cannot fault him in any way. He even sent a text while he was 2 weeks away on his holiday to say "thinking of you" on the day of my mothers internment. All I can say is I cannot praise or thank D Caesar Jones and all their staff enough for the way they looked after me and my Mum at this very difficult time.
Thank you for an exceptional review. I am glad that our staff went above and beyond to deliver the service you expected and that we were respectful of your needs at such a difficult time.
My mother arranged her own funeral via Age Uk and she chose this Funeral Director. The family only had to fine tune the arrangements as my mother had requested the main services herself. From start to finish the staff at D Caesar Jones were nothing but professional, kind and helpful. They explained everything from start to finish and helped every step of the way, from providing the vicar to helping us with the music.
The gentleman who organised the day walked us through everything the day before and was there with us on the day.
We were provided with a memory box and were encouraged to take a flower and decoration from the wreaths. We were also given a photo of my mother in a frame that they provided to stand on the coffin during the service which was such a lovely touch that we were not expecting.
D. Caesar Jones enabled us to give my mother the send of she deserved.
We appreciate you leaving a review online for your experience with D Caesar Jones. Your feedback is always valuable to us. I am pleased that we provided the highest level of care and guidance for you and your family and that that we were able to help ease any worries that you may have had.
The five stars are entirely due to being dealt with by the lovely Sue from a sister funeral director’s-Stone and Ham based in Neville St.Sue dealt with us as there was no-one available from Caesar Jones-which I would say is the only negative in the process-however she was absolutely great. She was very easy to deal with and accessible and struck exactly the right chord in her manner-being highly efficient and professional whilst also being warm and friendly-I always felt she was looking out for me guiding me through the process and highly recommend her.
Thank you for your 5* review. I understand that staff shortages at D Ceaser Jones were the reason for the transfer of arrangements to A J Stone & William Ham Funeral Directors and we are extremely pleased to hear that our staff were able to assist you with your arrangements and that you found us to be highly efficient and professional. Thank you once again for your review and comments.
