It is with great sadness to announce that dad (Poppa) sadly passed away at Ely Court Care Home, Cardiff on Tuesday 6th February 2024 aged 97 years & 5 months.
A true gentlemen who loved life and people. Those blue sparkly eyes and immense sense of fun will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Poppa was such a friendly, colourful character so the family wish to give people the choice not to wear black. So do feel comfortable to wear a bit of colour. Poppa was a proud Welshman so perhaps red. He was also a member of the Forget Me Not Chorus so maybe a splash of blue, the same colour as the logo of the Alzheimer's Society.
We do hope you can join us to celebrate Poppa's long life, which was well lived.
