Beloved wife of the late James Downie Walker; much-loved mother of Ian, Fiona and Alistair; and proud grandmother of Liam, Rhiannon, Kayleigh, Carys and Olivia.
Born in Yorkshire, she trained and worked as a nurse, living in Rhodesia and Australia before returning to England. A true force of nature, she will be remembered for her strength, independence and her love of the novels of Dorothy Dunnett.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Please note that the service is in the chapel at JE Spence Funeral Directors, NOT at Lawnswood Crematorium.
Following the service please join the family at the Headingley Golf Club, Back Church Ln, Adel, Leeds LS16 8DW for food and to celebrate Christine's incredible life!
