Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep the day after his 90th birthday party, God Rest his Soul.
It just so happened to be 20 years to the day of Mum’s funeral, and we, his children, truly believe he’d achieved everything he wanted to in life and decided it was his time to leave this world behind. What a way to go Dad!
He thoroughly enjoyed his party, with close family and friends, he gave a speech making everyone laugh, chatted with everyone, had a few whiskies, and danced the night away. For those of you at the party, you were privy to see how happy he was.
For anyone who knew Dad, he was an upright, kind and generous, albeit straight talking man, he never shied away from manual labour, and with Mum’s loving guidance worked hard to bring up 5 children, instilling happiness, sharing, kindness, moral and work ethics into all of us. Thank you Mum & Dad, we are who we are because of you both.
He will be dearly missed but always remembered with love and fondness by everyone whose lives he touched.

Dad was a traditional man so black funeral attire would be preferred, however any dark coloured suit/outfit would be appreciated.
