Jeremy died at his home in Ely, aged 52, following struggles with alcohol. He was the much-loved father of Cuba; son of Peter and Julia; brother to Katharine, Clare, Teresa and Neil; and partner to Celia. His outward self-assurance, sociability and playfulness touched many others: his former wives, Rebecca and Olga; his school friends; his work colleagues in hospitality over the years; and most recently the staff and pupils at Castle School in Cambridge where he found his calling as a food technology teacher. While it is tragic that Jeremy died so young, we take comfort that he is remembered so fondly and is now at peace.
