It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of William, known to all his family and friends, as Bill. Bill passed away suddenly on the 7th September, aged 93 years. A much loved husband of Gloria, Dad of the late sons Stephen, Noel, Roger and Trevor and a wonderful Bampy to all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Bill will be forever loved and greatly missed by all his family and friends. Our world has lost one of life's true gentlemen.
Bill was a veteran of the Royal Welch after serving in the Korean war and therefore, any donations in Williiam's memory can be made to Help for Heroe's - a charity very close to Bill's heart.
William, Bill, as you have stood by the Cenotaph for the past 30 years to salute and remember our fallen, our veterans and those serving, it is time for us to now salute you for everything that you have done. Thank you Sir, rest peacefully, until we all meet again.
