Joan Owen (née Dixon) peacefully passed away amongst family at Belmont Care Home, Longridge on 7th of November 2024 aged 89 years.
Joan lived for 57 happy years in Bamber Bridge. She raised her two daughters there with her husband Jim whom she enjoyed supporting in his role as councillor and mayor.
Her later years were spent in Belmont Care Home where she was well respected and received outstanding care and attention.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends both near and far.
Joan's family warmly invite anyone wishing to attend a celebration of her life at Charnock Richard Crematorium on Friday 29th of November at 1:30.
