Bruce Elwyn Arthur Murtough, 75, having enjoyed his life to the full, cast his final line on 07th December 2025.
Bruce was born and lived his entire life in Swindon. He made great friends throughout his career in the building industry. He had a lifelong passion for fishing, enjoying many memorable days on the banks of the River Thames. Sport played a large part in his life being an avid Swindon Town fan and following cricket, rugby and many other sports.
Bruce was a devoted husband to Mary and father to Vanessa and Shawn. He was immensely proud of his Grandchildren, Evelyn, Cormac and Carys. He is survived by his brothers Alwyn and Trevlyn and will join his brother Shawn at rest for eternity.
Please join us in celebrating Bruces life at Kingsdown crematorium for a service in the chapel on 07th January 2026 at 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers the family would welcome donations to the British Heart Foundation (either via the link on this page or on the day of the funeral).
