A very much loved father, father-in-law, brother, grandad, great grandad and friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Bob passed away peacefully with his sons by his side in the early hours of 8 June 2024 at St. Benedict's Hospice, Sunderland. Husband to the late Mary; father of Peter, Shaun, Robert and Catherine; brother of Stella; daughters-in-law Beryl and Simone; Grandad to Kaitlin, James, Julia, Niamh, Noel, Jack and Molly; great grandad to Megan and Carys. A rememberance service will be held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Bridge Street, Sunderland on Friday 5th July 2024 at 12.05 followed immediately by a service at Sunderland Crematorium at 13.30.
Donations in lieu of flowers will be warmly accepted for St Benedicts Hospice whose staff provided sensitive, excellent care to Bob in his final days. Collections will take place both at the church and crematorium services. Alternatively, please donate via https://www.stbenedicts.co.uk
