You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.
Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.
If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.
Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.
Reviews of our services
John was very attentive and listened to my Fathers wishes and ensured that they were carried out to the letter. He offered his total support throughout the process and contacted me regularly to ensure that everything was OK.
This is now the 3rd time we have used Charles Tait,
Jamie dealt with my Mother 3 years ago and also my Father in law last year, in all cases I could not fault the care and commitment of all the staff at Charles Tait. I am sorry to say I have forgotten the name of the lady who has been there every time I have had to go to the office, she has been absolutely brilliant and very supportive. Also the poor lady who let me in to see my Father at the Chapel of rest, I think I was a quivering wreck but she was very professional and understanding. Thank you very much. Although Thank you doesn't really say how much I really appreciated all of the kindness and help.
The service was caring, professional and efficient.
