It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Heather Valerie Roden (née Trend, formely Czerepaninec), aged 65, who died peacefully on Tuesday, 8th July 2025, after a courageous battle with bowel cancer and recent illness with pneumonia.
Heather was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons, Ben (30) and Thomas (28), who were the pride and joy of her life. She raised them with unwavering care, compassion, and strength, shaping them into the thoughtful and independent men they are today.
She is survived by her beloved partner Les and sisters, Glynis and Elaine, who stood by her side with love and support through every chapter of her life.
Heather will be remembered most for her warm, hearty laugh and radiant smile that lit up every room she entered and brought comfort to those around her. Her presence was a source of joy, and her memory will continue to bring light to those who knew and loved her.
A funeral service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday 6th August 2025, at Bushbury Crematorium West Chapel. All who knew her are welcome to attend and share in honouring her memory.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
