It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sad passing, on the 9th March 2025, of Shirley Alona Thomas (nee Williams) aged 85, of Plas Cadwgan Road, Ynystawe.
Devoted and cherished wife to Norman Colin Thomas, Loving and adored mother to Sheena and Fiona. Mother in law to Mark Stephens and Leigh Allnutt. Sister to the late Ronald Rayner Williams and sister in law to Iga Williams. Auntie to Jason and Tina.
Shirley described her childhood as idyllic, growing up in the post war era at Beefarm, with her late parents, Richard William Clive Williams and Megan Williams.
After she married Norman, she remained in Ynystawe, raising their two girls in their family home. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her cousins and hearing of the exploits of their children and their families.
Her kind, loyal and loving disposition means she will be sorely missed by her family, friends and all that knew her but remains in our hearts and memories forever.
