Sadly, passed away on 10 August 2026, aged 79 years.
A much-loved husband, adored Dad, cherished grandad, beloved brother, who will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and the happiness he brought to those around him. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories for those who knew and loved him.
Born in Peverel Road, Ray spent all his life in Leicester, making his home in Fosse Road South and later Una Avenue, before settling in Narborough, where he enjoyed his final years.
His funeral service will take place on Thursday 27 August 2026 at 4.00pm at South Leicestershire Memorial Park and Crematorium, Countesthorpe, Leicester, LE8 5QP.
After the service, family and friends are warmly invited to join us at 5.00pm at the Axe & Square, Countesthorpe, Leicester, LE8 5RQ, where we can come together, share memories and celebrate the life of a good man.
Forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Ray, you will be deeply missed.
