Sadly, we announce the peaceful death of Kenneth Henry Summerfield, also known as 'Ken', who died on 11th October 2026, aged 102 years.
Ken's was a life well-lived by a gentle man well-loved. He has often been described as an 'independent gentleman' and he lived up to that in every sense. He was known for his kindness but also for his wry sense of humour. He went out of his way to help others but he had a habit of doing things his own way. If you know, you know! The hilarious tales will live on. He is already very much missed by his family and friends.
