On the 12th of January 2026, we sadly lost Joanne Louise Blackwell after a long battle with cancer.
Joanne was the daughter of the late Eric and Jean Blackwell, loving wife of Paul Laycock, sister to Susan, Karen & the late Ian, plus a cherished Auntie, Great Auntie, Sister-in-Law and of course, friend. She will be missed immensely by so many.
Joanne’s funeral will be held on Thursday 29th January 2026, 9:45am at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland. After the service, we will be celebrating her life at the Lane Head Hotel, Brighouse. Please wear something purple.
