Michael Hussey, passed away at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey on the 12th January 2026, aged, 93 years.
To celebrate his life, the memorial service will be conducted by the family to include talks, readings and music from his family friends and colleagues.
Also, we would like to invite you as part of the service to come and be part of the 'Michael Hussey Memorial Choir' where we will learn and sing two traditional Zimbabwean songs and sing them at the memorial service in his honour .
We want to create a huge wall of sound to honour this beautiful man - all our voices rising up together singing in his original language, so we are blessed to have special Zimbabwean choral teacher Bruce Ncube who will guide us in our learning of 2 songs in a rehearsal held before the Crematorium service in a venue nearby.
This is open to all and we would love to see as many of you there as possible - you don't have to be able to sing, or speak Shona / Sindebele - just come and sing and be part of something amazing.

There will be beautiful Zimbabwean food, a licensed bar, live music and time to share memories of Michael.
