It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Diana Buckett, also known as Rocky from the Rainbow Disco, who died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday 12th August 2025, aged 71. 2 days from her 72nd Birthday.
She leaves behind her Daughter Emma, Son Josh, Son-in-law Andrew, Sister Wendy, Grandchildren Alfie and Bethany, Nephew/Surrogate Son Richie and many friends and extended family members too numerous to mention. She loved us all dearly.
She will be resting in the Chapel at Oliver and James (formerly Childs) in Headington and available for visits the week previous to her funeral. Please call them and make an appointment if you would like to see her.
We welcome everyone to join us to celebrate her life at the Crematorium Service (details below), and later at the Prince of Wales Pub in Horspath to enjoy some of her favourite foods.
The service will be non religious and there is no dress code. Please come as you are comfortable, no black required unless you wish. Casual clothes are welcome.
If you wish to send flowers please contact Oliver and James to make your arrangements, flowers are welcome from all who wish to send them.
Alternatively, you can make a donation to the Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe hospital either via the link below, please ensure when making a donation online you quote the sub-fund number to ensure the donation is applied to the Heart Centre - Sub-fund: 0497 or a collection at the end of the service. They saved her life multiple times and we will be forever grateful.
