Christine Blurton lived in Mangotsfield for over 50 years before moving to Deerhurst Care Home in Soundwell where she passed away peacefully on 12th October 2025 at the age of 91. She will be very sadly missed by her sister, Joan, children, Helen, Claire, Matthew and John, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband George pre-deceased her in 2004.
A Service and celebration of life will be held on Wednesday 5th November, 13:00 at Mangotsfield & Castle Green United Reformed Church, Cossham Street, Mangotsfield, Bristol BS16 9EP. The family invite friends and neighbours to join them and suggest the wearing of colours or items to reflect Christine’s love of nature.
Following the service, please stay for refreshments in the Church and share personal memories.
Donations may be given on the day in memory of Christine to the family's chosen charities - Age UK and Dementia UK
