John Pearce passed away peacefully on the occasion of his 94th Birthday, in Southend Hospital.
Following a long career as a Marine Insurance Manager with Powell Duffryn and Stephenson Clark, he enjoyed a happy retirement, alongside his wife Jean.
He was an avid Southend United supporter, and a long-time member of Southend Operatic Society, performing in over 70 shows.
He is survived by his children, Tony and Nicky, and his much-loved grandhildren Emily, Megan, Calum and Eilidh, and great-grandchildren Alfred and Evelyn.
