In loving memory of Jean Muriel Barratt
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Jean Muriel Barratt, who died on the 14th March 2026 aged 86 years.
Jean was a much‑loved wife of late Stephen, and special mum, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She was devoted to her family and took great pride in those she loved, always putting others before herself and offering support, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever it was needed.
Jean will be remembered for her generous heart, her sense of humour, and the care she showed to everyone around her. She created a home filled with love and made people feel welcome simply by being herself. Her presence brought comfort and reassurance, and her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she enriched.
She leaves behind a family who adored her and who will miss her deeply, but who are forever grateful for the love, guidance, and memories she gave so freely. Jean will remain in our hearts always and will never be forgotten.
