It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Margaret, who died peacefully on the 14th of November at Rose Cottage Care Home.
Margaret's funeral service will take place on Thursday 4th December @ 1:30pm at D Walsh & Sons Chapel, 700a Manchester Road, BD5 7QH followed by committal at Scholemoor Crematorium @ 2:40pm.
Family flowers only please, however if you wish to make a donation in the memory of Margaret, it will be for the benefit of Dementia UK.
Margaret was born in London and later moved to the Buttershaw area of Bradford where she lived for many years, until she left home at roughly 20 years old to be married and start her own little family.
Margaret was a school cook for most of her working life with a few breaks where she did some factory work and she then went on to retire from Netherlands Avenue Specialist school.
Margaret always took great pride in her home and often enjoyed pottering in the garden. Margaret got so much pleasure in her caravan holidays and socialising at the local social club with her late husband Mick.
Margaret loved to watch her soap operas and television, but she always favoured spending time with her loving family.
Margaret leaves behind her three beloved children Susan, David, Gary (Late David - passed in 2024), her wonderful Grandchildren Richard, Jason, Lee and Rebecca. Margaret was further blessed with her Great Grandchildren Abigail, Evie-Grace, Teigan.
She Was the Widow Of the Late Michael Pamment (in the photo)
Unfortunately Margaret was diagnosed with Dementia and so she spent the last year of her life being cared for at Rose Cottage in Thornton, who her family are eternally greatful for, as she was given the best care and attention we could have wished for.
