Valerie passed away on the 15 October 2024 gracefully, peacefully and very much loved - just as she lived her life for over 90 years.
Her funeral mass service will be held at Our Lady Of Ransom in Eastbourne, followed by a service at Eastbourne Crematorium and a reception at the Lansdowne Hotel in the Wilmington lounge.

For those who wish to make a donation, Valerie favoured two charities: the Royal British Legion and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. From an Austrian/French father who fought in the first world war and having herself lived through the Blitz in London, she became a lifelong supporter of armistice day. So please wear a poppy in remembrance. After moving to the South Coast, she took up the cause of the Lifeboats.
